Your first naturopathic visit lasts 90 minutes with Dr. Allison. She listens intently to your full history, performs any pertinent physical exam and creates a custom wellness plan to reach your health goals. Plan to spend a total of 2 hours at your visit, allowing time for checking in and checking out.
Return visits last 30-45 minutes, depending on complexity. At each return visit, we go over your progress, and make any necessary changes to your plan. You receive a detailed, custom wellness plan at each visit.
New patient appointments for acupuncture last 90 minutes and include a full history, Chinese pulse and tongue diagnosis, and your initial acupuncture treatment. The acupuncture treatment itself lasts approximately 30 minutes.
The number of follow-up acupuncture treatments depends on your response to the treatments and the complexity of your case. We schedule an hour for follow up acupuncture visits, 30 minutes of which is spent during your acupuncture treatment itself.
